Better than the original on ZD-915 | |
| I have used a ZD-915 for years. This gun is compatible and makes it easier to change the glass chamber, but still very tight. If you are expecting a zero maintenance tool, just walk away. However, if you treat this tool like the precision instrument that it is you will get years of great service from it. I use the smaller tips which widen over time. I keep a few new small tips on hand for those days when I need to remove solder from very small pins. If the board has lead free solder you might need to add solder to the pins first. I will be posting some videos on Youtube on proper usage and maintenance of the ZD-915 station. | ||
